KBOP029 OMS process for Customer Close

This document is intended to provide the reader with the correct process to close a Customer in the iPECS Cloud OMS portal

Before request the Customer Close request, all provisioning must be removed from the Users on the Customers Account in the Customer Manager Portal.

 

The User licences can be removed prior to a Customer Close request being submitted, but this is not essential. Completion of the Customer Close process will automatically remove all User Licences and any Lifetime Licences will be returned to the port for further use.

 

Go to Customers, Modify Existing Customer and select the Customer Account to be closed.

Click Customer Close

 

The Reason for Closing field is mandatory and a reason must be selected from the list provided in the drop-down options:

Select the correct Reason for Closing and then add any further comments in the Comment field

Click Submit Order

The Order Team will check and approve accordingly. Once the order is Final Confirmed, the Customer will be fully closed in the OMS portal.
